Cancer Backup
A national cancer information service; contains detailed information on specific cancers and cancer treatments, coping with cancer and living with cancer. They also have a cancer telephone information service Monday to Friday 9am-7pm. Because the service is so much in demand, the lines are often busy.

Cancer Backup also offers 12 additional national freephone helplines specifically for speakers of the country’s most common ethnic minority languages: Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, French, Greek, Gujerati, Hindi, Polish, Punjabi, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese.
